Description

Dr. H.B. Wilbur writes again to Mrs. Mary Thornton to update her about her son James Thornton. Wilbur tells her that James is “perfectly happy in his new home and getting on nicely in school matters”. He also says that James is “an affectionate little fellow and all the teachers and attendants are quite attached to him”. Wilbur then ends the letter with “he is much more in the way of improvement here than he could possibly be at home.”
